Hyderabad to Seattle - Qatar - Business Class -Q Suite - B777

While returning from my India trip in Nov 2021, I was able to fly in Qatar Business class. I booked with 70k American Airlines AAdvantage points and USD 53.13 in taxes. It was also available to book with Alaska Airlines for 85k Alaska MileagePlan points and taxes. I booked it a month ahead of the travel date.

I flew in A350-800 in lie-flat seat from Hyderabad to Doha and then B777-200LR in individual suite from Doha to Seattle.

The regular check-in line at Hyderabad was so long it would require to arrive at airport at-least 3 hours before. The Business class line had only 1 person ahead of me.

The short layover in Doha was spent at the fantastic Al Mourjan business class lounge.

Here are a few pictures from the trip.

Seated at 3K on the Hyderabad to Doha leg

Breakfast with Paneer Dosa I think?

Ambient lightning to doze off.

Comfortable lie-flat but not so much privacy.

How beautiful are those flying machines...

Al Mourjan lounge in Doha is so amazing. I had time to use the shower which was as good as the Cathay Pacific First Class Lounge in Hong Kong. There were multiple restaurants inside the lounge with full service as well.

The most coveted individual suite called Q Suite. I was seated in 2J. It was super comfortable with lots of space and privacy.

Beautiful burgundy interiors.

This must be the man-made pearl island.

The door stays closed except for take off and landing. I can take all pictures I want without feeling awkward :D

Sleep like a baby. The FA made the bed with a mattress pad.

I really like that card candle holder they made. Great idea for at-home dinners :)

I can't say much about the food because it was nothing to call home. It was India, vegetarian and edible. I liked the presentation.

This post would have been much better if I wrote immediately after the flight but I got sick for a week after this flight... and I forgot everything that happened... so... 🤷

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my first time Q Suite experience and I think its totally worth it for what American Airlines is pricing. Incredible redemption.
